Carlos Alcaraz beat Caser Ruud in the U.S. Open Final on Sunday and won the title as the youngest player ever in history to win the men’s singles US Open title. He beat Ruud 6-4, 2-6, 7-6 (1), 6-3 and became the youngest man to be ranked No. 1.
Carlos has already attracted a lot of people by his fantastic play, though the US Open is his eighth major tournament. He is considered to be the most valuable player in the near future in men’s tennis. Till now, he has won 6 ATP Tour singles titles, 2 Masters 1000 titles and lastly, the 2022 US Open title, but it’s not the end, he will continue showing his magical play and will win the other titles in the future.
This Spaniard tennis player won the grand slam and grabbed the $2.6 million money as a price in front of the 24000 fans at Arthur Ashe Stadium at the age of 19. Rafael Nadal, who is from the same nation, also won his first grand slam at the age of 19 in the 2005 French Open.
After winning the US open, Carlos went to his coach, Juan Carlos Ferrero and hugged him. His coach was the former No. 1, who won the French Open in 2003 and also the finalist in the US Open that year. Carlos also showed his gratitude to his fans who always supported him and gave him courage.
